Join us at Black Cat Fables for a fun-filled afternoon with Megan Forbes, local author of Female Heroes of Greek Mythology, a mythological story collection that celebrates 51 of the bold, brave, talented, and fearless female heroes of Greek myth!

About Author Megan Forbes: 

Megan DuVarney Forbes is a middle school history teacher and author of three history books for students. She lives in the Los Angeles area with her husband, son, and daughter, and her favorite Greek goddess is Hestia!

She specializes in Caribbean and civil rights history and teaches about social justice through history and literature. Megan has been teaching middle school history and English for over a decade.

Megan is also the author of Leaders and Thinkers in American History and Major Events in American History: 50 Defining Moments from Pre-Colonial Times to the 21st Century.
