Join us and local vendor Jen of Sable & Starlight for a fun workshop where you’ll make your own super cute bookish charm! There are over 75 charms to choose from to add bookish flair to your e-reader, bag or a bookmark! Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced crafter, this workshop is a perfect creative outlet and opportunity to craft with friends old and new 💜
How it Works:
1. Pick your base (kindle/bag charm or bookmark charm – OR BOTH!)
2. Add your Charms (up to 5 charms per item) – this is the FUN PART!
3. Select a charm hook (if doing an e-reader charm)
4. Share your creation – talk about your inspiration, current reads, upcoming reads and anything and everything bookish related!
5. Shop your favorite local bookstore!
What to Expect:
- An instructor on hand to help you get started and provide assistance as needed.
- All materials included. Every participant will get to choose their own charms and chain.
- A fun, relaxed atmosphere to explore your creativity while connecting with others.

About Jen:
Hi there! My name is Jen, owner of Sable & Starlight. I started making cute kindle charms with my book club earlier this year and decided to expand to other book lovers who enjoy bookish crafts and accessories. I love bringing my favorite books to life, expressing myself creatively through charms! We began as a Kindle charm bar but have now expanded to hosting pop-ups where you can craft your own bookish accessory!

This workshop is for ages 14+. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Spaces are limited, so make sure to reserve your spot and get ready to create something beautiful!

Please Read - Our Event Policies
- Registration closes 24 hours prior to the workshop date.
- Our workshops are designed to start promptly, respecting the value of your time. To ensure a smooth start, please arrive 5-10 minutes early for sign-in.
- We understand that unforeseen circumstances may cause late arrivals. However, please note that arrivals more than 15 minutes late may need to catch up on their own. Unfortunately, we cannot allow participation for those arriving 30 or more minutes after the class has started.
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop due to insufficient registration numbers. If you cannot make the rescheduled date, you can use your reservation for another workshop of equal value or pay the difference between workshops.
- Refunds are otherwise not available for our events under any circumstances. However, you can transfer your reservation to another workshop of equal value or pay the difference between workshops.
- Please note that we may take photos during the workshop to use on social media. If you prefer not to be photographed, notify the teacher upon arrival.
