About Author Amber Lopez: 

This young author has been creating verses since she first was exposed to the writing craft. Amber's journey started from private journals to published works which mirror the very themes she explores: courage, vulnerability, and the beauty of shared human experience.

In her debut collection, Around the Sun, published in 2023, Amber captures the dichotomy of modern life – the connections forged in different seasons of the year, and how being vulnerable can open doors to the difficult conversations of one's well-being.

When not immersed in stanzas, Amber can be found wandering used bookstores, attending fantasy events, traveling abroad, and spending time outdoors reading. With each poem she shares, Amber invites readers into her world, hoping they'll find echoes of their own stories.

Amber Lopez introduces her third poetry collection, Moments with Myself, that opens tender conversations about learning to appreciate the current, unfinished version of ourselves in a world that constantly demands improvement and transformation.

This collection of poems creates dialogue around how people frequently spend so much energy trying to become someone else - someone better, someone more worthy, someone more complete - that they forget to befriend the person they are right now. 

The poems remind others that it is most important to practice compassion with yourself in this moment, to protect your peace from the constant pressure to evolve, and to love yourself exactly as you are—flaws, uncertainties, and all.
